I’ll admit, I have a love-hate relationship with IKEA. One one hand, IKEA is a great source for affordable accessories and great rug and pillow options, but anyone that’s assembled some IKEA furniture knows that it’s not always worth the inexpensive price tag. I have been pretty impressed with IKEA lately though. Last year’s boho line, the currently trending STOCKHOLM chair, and now IKEA’s summer collection, inspired by entertaining and relaxing at home, is on point.

IKEA’s Summer Collection Faves

This award-winning outdoor sofa has me VERY excited! I love its lines and minimalistic metal frame. I’m really considering waiting for IKEA’s summer launch to finish my back patio so that I can have this sofa.

Emphasizing backyard lounging, neighborhood cookouts and warm summer nights under the stars, IKEA’s summer line is all about casual and effortless entertaining at home. The line includes solar-powered lighting options, outdoor pendants, pillow covers in vibrant summer hues, minimal stoneware dishes, several new planter models and of course, some show-stopping outdoor furniture.

Despite my feelings about IKEA, it’s summer catalog is chock full of inspiration and some innovative pieces. Well done, IKEA. Well done.
