Custom Frames Online
I recently purchased my first custom frame online from Frames By Mail. I did this mostly out of convenience since I was running low on time for my One Room Challenge guest bedroom reveal, for which I purchased this awesome buffalo print. I needed a frame for that guy and decided to buy one online rather than have it custom framed, especially since I didn’t want or need an elaborate decorative frame. I stumbled upon Frames by Mail and I found it to be such an easy and enjoyable experience I wanted to tell you guys about it.
The interface is super user-friendly. You start by choosing your frame from a wide variety of options. They have everything from simple wood frames to elaborate ornate frames. Once you select your frame, it takes you to a new webpage where you can view your frame. The image of your frame changes to reflect your selections and features such as your art size and your matting size and colors. You can also choose from a few different backing and plexiglass options including non-glare plexi, an option I took advantage of since my art would be opposite a window in my guest room.
It keeps a line-by-line total running total for the cost of each option you choose.
Shipping is fast and customer service was outstanding. After placing my order I was nervous about getting my frame on time for our guest bedroom reveal so I sent an email to customer service explaining my situation. I received a response the same day (within a few hours) saying that they had begun processing it and would be sure to get the frame shipped out that day, ensuring I would have it in time!
When I received the frame it was everything I expected. There were no surprises and I was thrilled with the quality.
I definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase custom frames online. They have a wide selection of frames, lots of custom options (triple matte, in nearly 100 colors), the website is easy to use, shipping is fast and customer service was great.
P.S. Frames by Mail is not sponsoring this post. They have no idea who I am! 🙂
