1. Suction Knife Sharpener
This little gadget is so handy. A knife sharpener that has a suction bottom so it sticks to the countertop while you sharpen. It is small and stows away easily in a drawer.
2. Lazy Susan
These turntable organizers are so convenient in the kitchen. I keep one in my fridge to organize bottled condiments and I have another one under the sink to organize cleaning supplies. It would also work in the pantry or bathroom.
3. Food Saver Vacuum Sealer
A vacuum sealer extends food storage life and helps reduce waste. We use it to seal meats and seafood we purchase in bulk. It’s also great for freezing prepared food. I use it for anything from meat to baked goods.
4. Butter Bell
A butter bell is one of my favorite things in the kitchen! If you haven’t heard of a butter bell, check out this blog post. It’s a storage crock that keeps butter fresh and soft using two parts – a bell-shaped crock for the butter and a bowl of water that the crock sits in. The bell of butter creates a suction in the water which keeps the air from reaching the butter, keeping it fresh and soft without refrigeration.
5. Vitamix Blender
The Vitamix is the only blender I will ever own. Once you try a Vitamix you will never go back to any other blender. It is industrial-strength making blending easy, whether you are blending frozen fruit for a smoothie or nuts for nut milk. It can even make soup. A Vitamix is an investment but they are built to last a lifetime.
6. Silpat Silicone Baking Mats
These baking mats are the best. I use them for everything, not just baking. The silicone is completely non-stick, cooks evenly, and is easy to clean.
