Spring is here! The birds are chirping, the weather is warm, and the scent of blossoms in the air. And you know what that means: it’s time to refresh our living spaces, both indoors and out. Today, I’m sharing a little update to our Spring front porch, just in time for the sunny days ahead.

Last year marked major improvements to our curb appeal. Following the wrap of our garage addition and paved driveway, we invested in landscaping (we worked with Yardzen and it was amazing!) irrigation, landscape lighting, and even added a tranquil fountain in the breezeway nook. These additions not only elevated the aesthetics of our exterior but also created a welcoming ambiance that we’ve been loving.

As we transition into spring, I’ve turned my attention to the porch. We need extra seating because our two rocking chairs are not cutting it. When we entertain, everyone sits on the steps and the side of the porch. We have so much space to utilize, and thanks to the wonderful folks at Ash and Ember, our vision is coming to life with the addition of a stunning outdoor set. The set includes a round grade A teak dining table with charming legs and four grade A teak chairs, perfect for alfresco dining or simply unwinding beside the soothing sounds of the fountain.

The dining table and chairs have been a great addition to our spring front porch, seamlessly blending rustic charm with modern elegance. Crafted with durability and style in mind, the table boasts a weather-resistant design, ensuring it withstands the elements while retaining its timeless appeal.

The chairs have a supportive back, and a contoured bottom with tightly spaced horizontal slats. The gently scooped seat provides comfort without the need for cushions.

One of the things we love most about our new outdoor dining set is its versatility. It has been a great spot for a morning coffee, and family dinner and I’ve enjoyed it as an outdoor office. The table is spacious and accommodates our needs with ease.

As we embrace the longer and warmer days in the months ahead, I’m excited to spend more time on our spring front porch.

Next up, I’d like to swap our black rocking chairs for teak ones to match the dining set and add either a teak outdoor sofa or additional rocking chairs on the other side of the front door. Or how cute is this teak glider?! Stay tuned!
