Pink Boho Christmas Gathering + Pink Hot Cocoa!

I can’t believe Christmas is right around the corner! I’m not ready to give up Christmas music, apple cider and holiday decor just yet…and I’m certainly not ready to stop trying to inspire you guys for your holiday entertaining either! Today I’m sharing a cute al fresco concept for a holiday party, girls winter gathering or even a New Years party. How about a pink wonderland tablescape with a low boho table, poufs and pillows, sequins and pink hot cocoa???  If you guys follow me on Instagram, you may have seen the sneak peaks of today’s project on my story a few weeks back. I was inspired by a beautiful image from an Anthropologie catalog earlier this year featuring a low boho table under an oak tree with moss and lanterns hanging from it. I have the perfect oak tree so I decided to use that setting as inspiration for an al fresco, PINK boho Christmas tablescape and of course a bar cart! Huge thanks to Emily Katharine Photography for capturing the day perfectly, per usu.

I love the idea of gathering around a low table for a casual evening under the stars and candle-lit lanterns, but if you don’t live in Florida you may have to take your pink boho Christmas party indoors!

Layer rugs, pillows and poufs for comfort and mix in sheep skins and throw blankets like we did here. pink boho party The pink patterned rug on the right is a Peruvian blanket or rug called a frazadas. Here I used an antler with greenery and a flower tied to it with pink ribbon. Nothing says boho better than antlers! They also double as a favor for guests to take home. gold and pink holiday place setting When creating your tablescapes – any tablescape – feel free to mix textures and layer runners or tablecloths. Here I used a sequin runner with a white crocheted runner over it and a Christmas tree garland on top. Doing this creates some visual interest and adds depth to your table decor. pink winter tablescape with antler and flowers at place setting pink and gold holiday table decorFor simple, yet pretty holiday decor, use Christmas ornaments in assorted sizes on cake stands with a little greenery mixed in. Super easy and super cute!pink floral in lantern and peppermint snacks in pink candy dishesSince we had lanterns hanging above the table, my florist friend thought it would be cute to do the floral arrangments in lanterns too! I couldn’t agree more. It helps tie the whole look together and it feels coordinated and cohesive. brass bar cart with pink christmas hot cocoa and cake I love a good bar cart for entertaining!!! It is so easy to dress up a bar cart and it can fit the theme of any gathering. For this occasion, I repeated the lanterns, sequin and greenery and added jumbo Christmas ornaments and a soft pink scarf for texture and to cozy-up the cart. pink christmas hot cocoa This pink peppermint hot cocoa is EVERYTHING!! pink hot cocoa with marshmallowsAnd to top it off, a cake with pink drippy icing, of course. pink christmas bar cart
