Soft, Pastel Thanksgiving Tablescape Inspiration

You guys! This is a huge week for Daly Digs! I have been super busy behind the scenes creating some great content for you guys and today I can finally share one of my latest projects, three completely different Thanksgiving tablescape ideas just in time for Thanksgiving next week.

I am so thrilled that Le Creuset came along for the ride and that Style Me Pretty Living, one of my favorite lifestyle blogs evaaaa, featured our project today! Ahhh someone pinch me! You can see Style Me Pretty Living’s full feature here!

I will post each Thanksgiving tablescape idea in detail here on Daly Digs over the next three days so get ready for some pretty!

A Little Background
This project went from an idea in my head to photoshoot day in less than 2 weeks, involving a professional photographer, a HUGE brand sponsor, FOUR stationary designers, a floral designer and enough props, table decor and furniture for three, completely different tablescapes with food and cocktails!! I was dreaming of unique Thanksgiving tablescapes, a departure from the traditional table décor in fall colors. I started conceptualizing tablescape looks in my head and I just couldn’t stop at one, so I decided to tackle three! Each table would focus on a different color scheme and feature entirely different place settings, centerpieces, and even seating options.  I am psyched to work with my friend and super talented photographer Jacqui Cole Photography on this project and also huge thanks to Le Creuset who provided color coordinating pieces for each table. Le Creuset cookware is of the utmost quality. It  is durable, heats evenly, is non-stick and is super pretty!
Alright, alright. Enough chatting. Here is the first table in this three-part unique Thanksgiving tablescape inspiration project!!!!

If you read my about page, you know that I own a vintage rental company. I’m closing that business to focus on Daly Digs, but the farm tables and vintage seating used for this project are the perks of hoarding vintage furniture for clients…and myself, clearly.

Centerpieces featured a pink floral arrangement in a gold pumpkin with peach, white and pink gourds and pumpkins placed on the table.

Gold is a lovely complement to pink. For this table, I used gold accents including gold stemless wine glasses, gold chargers and gold flatware which is to die for!
gold and etched glass place setting

The trick to pretty place settings is layers, layers, layers! The place settings for this table featured a charger, ivory linen napkin with gold trim and AMAZING glass dinner and salad plates. The stunning gold flatware and custom menu finished off the setting.

Incorporating stationery into your Thanksgiving dinner is an easy way to add a nice extra touch. This table features handmade, pink dip-dyed menus with gold calligraphy and deckle edges.  pink le creuset entree

The pink Dutch ovens are Le Creuset (obvi) from their hibiscus line. The entree is herbed peach glazed pork loin with red potatoes, a great alternative to Turkey if you’re looking for one.

pink wine poached pears

For dessert, rosé poached pears that coordinated nicely with the color scheme. And, they are delicious! I’ve included the see recipe below.

There ya have it, a soft, pink and gold pastel Thanksgiving tablescape!

I love this soft pastel Thanksgiving tablescape idea! Isn’t that pink Le Creuset soooo good?!??! The soft linen runner and clear etched glass plates, and those hand calligraphy menus…I just love it all. Special thanks to my friend Gayle of Florist Fire who owns a bustling floral shop and took on my project with super short notice, and to Holly of Sablewood Paper Co who took on my custom calligraphy menu request the WEEK OF the shoot and rush shipped the menus to me so I would receive them on time.

Recipe: Rosé Poached Pears
These poached pears are not only pretty, but they’re super easy and delish. This recipe is enough for 4 pears but can easily be doubled.
Ingredients:
1 bottle rosé
3/4 cup sugar
1 cinnamon stick
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
1 cup water
Caramel sauce

Mix rosé, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla in a large saucepan. Stir and bring to boil. Lower to a simmer and add peeled pears. Simmer gently 20-30 minutes, turning as needed. Remove pears from saucepan. Drizzle with caramel sauce and serve. You can also serve with some of the sauce from the saucepan.
