Thanksgiving Table Inspiration

We typically host Thanksgiving every year and I tend to think about the tablescape as much as (more than?) the menu. I love a curated tablescape, the thoughtfulness that goes into it, and seeing the end result. This year I put together 3 Thanksgiving table concepts to inspire your own gathering.

Thanksgiving Table Inspiration: 3 Ways

Earthy Organic Thanksgiving Table

The first look is an “earthy organic” table. I plan to do a version of this. The great thing about these looks is you can use what you already have and fill in what you need. I love the idea of an oversized linen tablecloth over the entire table. This one is available in several sizes and is a bargain! The linen sets the stage for some earthy, neutral details including these unique leather-looking placemats, speckled dinnerware (I wish I had these!) and can we talk about how cute the mushroom plate is?! I chose a patterned linen block print napkin and love what the blue and rosey hues do for the tablescape. To top it off, wood napkin rings, brass candleholders with structural taper candles, recycled glassware, and a neutral eucalyptus garland. I typically like to incorporate a floral arrangement for added texture and beauty.

Traditional Thanksgiving Table

These stunning turkey plates inspired the next look, a traditional tablescape. The plates may steal the show from the actual turkey because they are so good. They’re the star of the table which has gold and brass accents, napkins with “thankful” stitching, green goblet glassware, pear-shaped candles, and a faux pear centerpiece to tie in with the rich colors from the dinner plate. Chefs kiss.

Country Farmhouse Thanksgiving Table

The soft green and blue centerpiece inspired this country farmhouse Thanksgiving table. I played on the blue for a French country vibe with this patterned tablecloth and added a country plaid napkin to complement it, with white pumpkin napkin rings to tie into the centerpiece. This blue ruffle tablecloth would be so charming, too. A wood charger for some warmth with white stoneware plates and vintage-inspired silverware and these gorgeous brass hurricanes would create a stunning centerpiece.

Thanksgiving Kids Table

Let’s not forget the kiddies! Keep them happy and entertained at the dinner table (or during Thanksgiving day) with a coloring tablecloth or placemats, sticker sheets, or turkey crown, add some turkey glasses, and finish off with cute plates and disposable cups. And don’t forget the crackers (adults love them too!) or these cute turkeys with a surprise inside.
