Moody, Elegant Thanksgiving Tablescape Inspiration

Hey there, folks! Happy week before Thanksgiving! We’re back today with part 2 of our “one table, three ways” tablescape project and today we are sharing all the details for a deep red and moody, elegant Thanksgiving tablescape! OK, ready for table number two?? It’s a lot more dramatic than yesterday’s table! Here goes…

Elegant Thanksgiving Tablescape Inspiration

For this elegant Thanksgiving tablescape, I wanted to show an eclectic seating option featuring a sofa on one side. Isn’t that vintage tufted sofa amazing!? We used black chairs on the other side. If you want to change up your seating options for Thanksgiving entertaining, reach out to local rental companies. Chair rental fees range from $7.00-$15.00 and some will allow you pickup to save on the delivery fee. 

You don’t have to use chargers and layered plates to make the feel elegant. I used this super cute “be thankful” printable tag and a red pear atop each plate in lieu of layering plates on top of a charger. It made the place setting interesting with a lot less effort.

Red fruits including apples, pomegranates, and pears were sprinkled along the table. Your produce aisle is a super affordable way to add visual interest to your tablescape, no matter what time of year.

Can we talk about that matte black flatware??? It’s sooo good and perfect for this elegant Thanksgiving tablescape! I love incorporating flatware in different, unexpected finishes and this one does not disappoint! This one can be purchased on amazon!

This is a ginger beet martini and don’t knock it til you try it! Recipe below! 

Can we talk about those red garden roses? They are super amazing. I definitely recommend ordering a floral centerpiece from your local florist, but at the very least, get yourself over to a grocery store and buy some flowers for your table!

Try tying your napkins with ribbon for a nice little added touch.  

Isn’t that black Le Creuset Dutch oven so dramatic! The black is one of my favorites, and it looks so damn good paired with deep red accents!

Guys, these black plates are from IKEA! They’re super affordable, yet classic.

The appetizer is a cranberry and pomegranate bruschetta.

I love love love the idea of incorporating stationery into your Thanksgiving entertaining. This printable was found on Etsy and printed on color-coordinated cardstock paper.

When the stylist and photographer are both German Shepherd owners, it’s only natural you photograph the doggie!
