A Citrus-Inspired Spring Brunch

Citrus-Inspired Spring Brunch Entertaining

Happy Spring you guys! Today I’m sharing a citrus-inspired spring gathering with you. Nothing says spring better than vibrant hues of orange, yellow and pink coupled with citrus! For our springtime tablescape we used sliced and whole citrus (oranges, lemons, limes and grapefruit) paired with stunning spring blooms in vintage milk glass with an airy runner. Isn’t that pink peony a STUNNER!?! If you’re taking your gathering outdoors, don’t be afraid to bring some furniture outside. For our citrus-inspired spring brunch, we used a vintage yellow hutch to house drinks and a long console table for the brunch buffet with coffee, pastries and mini doughnuts.
We hung the adorbs mini doughnuts off of a vintage bottle drying rack and used tangerines as place card holders by tapping a toothpick to the place card and sticking it gently in the fruit. Need an idea for favors or a hostess gift for your spring-themed affair? How about mini marmalade and biscuits? (Complete DIY instructions and recipes coming ‘atcha soon!)Vintage coffee sacks coordinated with the coffee and pastry bar perfectly and crates of oranges completed the look.   A fun idea when entertaining is to serve cocktails that tie in with your theme. The cocktails for our citrus-inspired spring brunch featured limoncello sparklers and honey whiskey sours. That’s right folks, mimosas made with limoncello!
A lounge is a great way to make an outdoor event more relaxed and comfortable for your guests. Check out this amazing cake with hand-painted oranges which could not have been more perfect for this citrus-inspired springtime gathering!

What do you think? Is there some spring entertaining in your future?
