hey there, friends!
Welcome to the Digs
An Introduction to the Digs
When we first set eyes on the house it was run-down and in need of a major overhaul. It had a dark brown exterior, a plywood window and the interior was dripping in orange wood. Somehow, we saw past all that and fell in love with the farmhouse charm, the architecture and the land.
Since 2016 we have slowly renovated the house, one project at a time. Some of our biggest improvements include a mostly DIY gut kitchen remodel, a 3-car garage and breezeway addition, a new roof and all new Pella windows. We have moved walls (and moved some again!), added square footage and have lived through every renovation. A few rooms remain untouched and there are big plans for the future!

Hi, there! I’m Becky.
I have had an interest in interiors since I was a little girl sketching my bedroom floor plan and spending my allowance on Better Homes & Gardens magazines. Although I considered design school for college, I took a drastically different path which included the Army, Grad school and a career as a government intelligence analyst. But after a decade I was burnt out and longing for something more creative. Around that time we purchased our fixer-upper and I started Daly Digs to document the process. A couple of years later, I resigned from the government and I haven’t looked back since.
