Inspired by Utah’s Desert Mountain Vibes
If you follow me on Instagram then you know I’m in Utah right now. Hubby had to take a short trip to Salt Lake City so naturally, I insisted I join him and we make a trip out of it. We met up in Vegas and hit the road to Utah to explore Bryce and Zion National Parks and we will end with a couple of days in Sin City. I had never been to Utah and after spending a lot of time planning our trip, I am so so excited about it. You just don’t see anything close to desert mountain landscape in the sunshine state. The scenery and terrain are enough to make my terracotta-loving heart beat a little faster. I’m feeling so inspired by Utah, I decided to put together a desert mountain mood board that reflects my current state of mind. My personal design style favors earthy tones and boho elements so I feel right at home amongst this desert mountain oasis.
It’s going to be tough not to buy all the terracotta pendant lights when I get home! I just love the terracotta pendant light shown above.
Wish us luck with our attempt to hike Angels Landing pictured here complete with chains to hold onto while you summit.
Cute terracotta planter from none other than Anthro.
I cannot believe I do not own any floor pillows like this! These are a must.
I’m loving the minimalist vibe of this interior space with a gold sofa!
Give me all the cactus.
How cool is this petrified wood serving board!
The tile work on these stairs is gorge.
I love the pattern and color variation in these terracotta roof tiles!
I have my eyes out for a new rug for the master bedroom refresh I’m planning. Yes, I’m changing things up already. Stay tuned for more on that, but this is the style rug I am digging.
That’s my cute new backpack that I scored from Amazon that I will use as my hiking daypack! How did we survive before Amazon?
Does anyone else fall for terracotta and similar earthy tones? What’s inspiring you guys lately?
Can’t wait to share more about the trip with you guys and show and tell anything and everything we picked up while in Utah! I’m on the lookout for some fun accessories to finish styling out our built-ins (REVEAL coming soon) and as always, a piece of art for the Daly Digs.
