Black and Green Edgy Farmhouse Christmas Tree

It’s that time of year! I’m excited to be participating in the My Home Style Christmas Tree Blog Hop again this year hosted by my friend Stephanie. If you’re hopping over from Tag & Tibby, welcome! A total of 30 bloggers shared a variety of Christmas tree looks! Each blogger and their Christmas tree blog post is linked at the end so please hop around. This year I brought in some drama and added black accents to create an edgy farmhouse Christmas tree. Let’s get into it!

Black & Green Edgy Farmhouse Christmas Tree

We have a 12′ mixed needle Christmas tree from the At Home store. This tree really calls for some large bulb ornaments so I used my existing white glitter ones and added smaller ornaments in black, white and green.

Black velvet ribbon adds a little drama and edge to the tree but I balanced it with white ornaments, white snowflake ribbon and some wood-toned ornaments.

I like to change up my shelf styling on the built-in to match the tree so I used existing bottle-brush trees I had from last year with a few new purchases sprinkled in.

A black and green edgy farmhouse Christmas tree needs presents to match! Dark green and buffalo check wrapping paper and some leftover ribbon tie the whole look together.

My favorite holiday decor purchase this year are these reindeer! I love their skinny, elongated legs, they’re so chic!

There you have it. My version of an edgy farmhouse Christmas tree!
