What I Pinned Lately

What I Pinned Lately

Per usual, I’ve been busy on Pinterest pinning away. I am constantly on the hunt for inspiration, whether it be for our home or client projects. I fantasize and plan renovations in my head for parts of our home we are not even close to tackling! I can’t help myself. 😉 Here’s a little snippet of some of my fave pins lately and what I’m thinking about each one.

This collected living room has everything I dream about. High ceilings, a comfy sofa, vintage furniture and decor in an earthy palette. I love that cabinet, the styling and the wall sconces flanking it. So gorgeous.

I love the bold, green walls in this living space but the vintage rug and those gorgeous upholstered chairs are making a good argument too. I’ve been on the hunt for a pair of matching chairs for our living room and this style is a contender.

I have been researching wood ceilings for an idea I have for our house (more on that later) but this reclaimed wood ceiling is giving me all the feels!… Read more

What I Pinned This Week

What I Pinned This Week

I’m back with another edition of “What I Pinned This Week.”

A couple of kitchens, a stunning black range moment and a gorgeous bathroom that mixes modern and vintage touches, here are a few of my favorite pins in the last week or so.

What I Pinned This Week

Via Amber Interiors

Amber Interiors can do no wrong in my book. I love the way she marries modern and vintage elements to create cozy, unique spaces. This bathroom is no exception I love the modern hexagon white tile with the vintage rug layered over it. The crisp white walls with a vintage bench sitting under the window. The modern clean-lined wood vanity with white countertops, edgy black touches and vintage art make this bathroom one of my favorite pins. It’s all is so good!

Via Emily Henderson

I’ve been following along with Em Henderson’s mountain house renovation and she finally debuted the completed kitchen. It’s warm, cozy, modern and cabin-ish all at the same time. The stained black island is my favorite moment in the space but all of the finishes on point.… Read more

What I Pinned This Week

I don’t know if it’s because we’re on the brink of Spring or because I attended a bloggers conference last month but I’ve found myself super inspired lately. We talked about Pinterest a little bit at the conference and as a result, I dusted off my Pinterest profile, gave my boards some love and have been pinning, pinning, pinning! I thought it might be fun to kick off a new blog series where I round up some of my favorite Pinterest pins. I’m calling it “what I pinned this week.”

This dining and floor moment is killing me…in the best way obvi. The tile is STUNNING and that vintage rug layered over it is even better. Then she went and had shiplap walls, awesome lighting and a cool ass fireplace and I was really done.

This little outdoor moment is simple, refined and perfect. I love the warm wood tones in the outdoor furniture, the black farmhouse sconce and that cactus!

Things I’m Diggin’

Things I’m Diggin’

Hiya friends and Happy December! I was reluctant to throw away my pumpkins but I finally did. While I’m going very minimal with holiday decor this year since we’re traveling over Christmas, I did fall in love with some unique global holiday decor that you must see.

The Citizenry is a great company offering home goods from around the world – my favorite kind. They believe “our homes should be reflections of the journeys we take. Our personal spaces deserve designs with a soul, a story, and a purpose.” Isn’t that awesome? They partner with artisans from around the world and offer unique handmade global goodies.  The African mudcloth stockings and tree skirt is sooooo, so good. And that other geometric pattered stocking is from artisans in Peru, an amazing place I recently visited.

And speaking of boho Christmas decor, check out my Christmas tree last year. I used lots of these cute little woven macrame ornaments, which I still love.

Things I’m Diggin’

Happy Friday! I’ve been hoarding a few things I’m diggin’ lately and today I’m sharing all the goodness. I’m pretty excited about everything here! Let’s jump in.

Target x Magnolia Collaboration

Target recently announced a new collaboration with Chip and Joanna Gaines of Fixer Upper, Hearth and Hand with Magnolia. There will be about 300 pieces, most under $30 and will include pieces in tabletop and home decor. I can’t wait to check out the collection but we’ll have to wait until early November. Here’s a sneak peek from Target

TV Art!?!

You guys! This is a TV to be excited about! Samsung has a new TV, The Frame, that displays as art when the TV mode is off. There are hundreds of works of art to choose from or you can choose to display personal photos instead. The TV comes in 55″ or 65″ and fits flush to the wall. The frame colors are customizable too. Gone are the days of a big black hole on the wall. It’s so genius. I’m especially loving this idea for our bedroom – where I hate seeing a TV but have grown to love having one in that room.… Read more

THINGS I’M DIGGIN’!

Heya folks! I’m back today with another edition of Things I’m Diggin’! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve done one of these and I’ve been seeing some pretty great stuff lately – especially as I think about styling out our built-ins (which are still in progress…don’t ask). Also, we’re officially kicking off our guest room makeover next week so stay tuned, it’s gonna be awesome!

  1. You guys, I am alllll about some Kantha lately. Kantha is a type of South Asian embroidery made from stitched together saris and miscellaneous pieces of cloth to make a large piece. Each side is different too, so you really get some bang for your buck with these. The one pictured above from Etsy, but even Amazon has some listed. Kantha pillows are often seen too. I’m thinking of incorporating some of this fun, bright textile into my guest room. 🙂
  2. Am I the only one that has a love affair with Target? I am all heart eyes over their recent global collections. If you follow me on Instagram you already know that I already have one of those orange earthenware wood base planters.

  1. This Milk Bottle Match Striker is everything! I love it and I want like 5 of them. If you’re like us and have candles all over your house, you need this. It is super convenient and adorable. Forget hunting for a lighter every time you want to light a candle. Instead, keep one of these babies right near your candles. Adorbs and effective. #winning
