It’s finally time to reveal the nursery bathroom makeover! We decided to attack this bathroom after working so hard to turn our barely used catch-all bedroom into a nursery for our little gal. The bathroom was in pretty rough shape so we figured since we’d be getting a lot of use out of the nursery, we may as well tackle the ensuite bathroom. Since it wasn’t really in our plan, we wanted to redo the bathroom on a budget and gave ourselves $3k. Even though in the end we went over budget, we collected a few money-saving tips along the way.
Nursery Bathroom Before and After
I knew early on that I wanted to use penny tile in the bathroom. Penny tile feels so classic and farmhouse to me and I thought it would be cute in a kids room. We replaced some of the white tiles with light and dark gray tiles to create a pattern for some added detail and interest.
