Boho Christmas Tree

Happy December y’all! I can’t believe Christmas is almost here! Today I’m sharing my cute little boho Christmas tree that I’m pretty in love with. If you’re following me on Instagram, you may have seen a little sneak peak on my story last week. This year, we got the largest Christmas tree I’ve ever had and I’m so excited about it! The #dalydigs has some high ceilings so I wanted to take advantage. Our tree is about 13 feet. Ok, I know it’s not huge, but  it’s the tallest one they had and he’s full and fluffy. We had one hell of a time getting him inside, and then we had to cut him down a bit for him to fit in the largest tree holder we could find. It was fun :/ I decided to take my tree down a boho path this year. I love the bohemian style which, if you’ve been reading along, you already know that. I found some pretty great ornaments for our boho Christmas tree so I thought I’d share my sources and inspire you to go boho!

I kept the color palette of the ornaments focused on natural tones of whites, brown, ivory and gold. My favorite tip for decorating your Christmas tree is to incorporate things outside of the ornament aisle. For example, the crocheted fringe garland on my tree is trim I purchased from the fabric store. I also purchased a bag of feathers and just stuck them into the branches and they stayed put without having to use an ornament hook. While I found the majority of my ornaments from Target (surprise, surprise), I found some awesome ornaments on Etsy that were sooo perfect for my boho Christmas tree I could cry! Look at those quartz crystal ornaments! I just love them! And those mini macrame ornaments! Super adorable. Otherwise, I used a lot of feather and beaded ornaments, and I scored those pom pom ornaments from Joann fabric on sale. #winning! I also reused some antlers from a deconstructed faux antler wreath from Pier 1 that I painted gold. I got the tree skirt from Home Goods, which had several options that would work if you’re doing a boho Christmas tree.
