A Simple Easter Table on the Patio

Easter is right around the corner! If you need an idea for a simple Easter table check out this one I put together. The weather has been so nice so consider taking your Easter gathering outside and set up on the patio or another outdoor area in your home.

I used the outdoor dining table on our patio. To elevate the look of the dining table, I covered it with layered tablecloths. I used a light weave nude cloth over a white tablecloth. I happened to have two vintage folding garden chairs that fit into the color scheme so I used them in place of two of the stools. Use what you have, friends!

You don’t need much to make a beautiful tablescape. In my simple Easter table, I used a gorgeous floral arrangement as my show-stopper moment (thank you Florist Fire) and used what I have to create the rest of the table decor.

For our soft, elegant St. Patrick’s Day table centerpiece we used a minty green linen runner with white and green florals in a large urn as the focal point with smaller flower arrangements along the table.

I love the idea of incorporating green cabbage for a St. Patrick’s Day table centerpiece. Use the cabbage as a vessel to hold a small floral arrangement or use small heads of green cabbage mixed in with florals to create a unique centerpiece.

For NYE inspiration this year we created a heck of a party, right in the Daly Digs dining room, proving you too can deck out a space at home for some festive entertaining. For our celebration, we took a traditional approach to New Year’s Eve and created a sparkly, confetti-filled NYE rosé and dessert party with an edgy twist. Serve a welcome cocktail at the door.

Welcome guests with a tray of self-serve cocktails. Prepare a large batch in advance and just before guests are scheduled to arrive, pour over ice and serve. Try a cocktail fitting for fall like a spiced pear cocktail.

Recipe: Spiced Pear Cocktail

24 oz Pear Nectar

12 oz Vodka

Seeds of 1 vanilla bean

Dash Cinnamon

Sliced pear for garnish

Blend & serve over ice

(makes 8 cocktails)

As you all know, I’m obsessed with tablescapes so here’s a last minute Thanksgiving idea for styling your tabletop.

Add an unexpected element.

Impress your guests with a fun and unique element. We created individual charcuterie boards for each guest which is a cute alternative to a large charcuterie board. For another impactful moment, we repurposed a large round candle holder as a focal point floral centerpiece.

Summer is here and it’s almost the 4th of July! Are you planning a 4th of July party? Today I’m sharing inspiration for a vintage all-American 4th of July party featuring a killer burger bar and tablescape with traditional Americana elements like vintage soda bottles, Cracker Jacks and motorcycle vibes.

Check out this awesome 4th of July stationery! You should know by know that I’m a big fan of sending coordinating invites when hosting a party.
What better way to celebrate 4th of July than a burger bar? To style our vintage all-American burger bar I used vintage soda crates, an American flag backdrop and vintage accessories. Burger labels coordinate with the invitations. Look at those cute motorcycle cut outs! I love the idea of displaying French fries in these friers! You could even place one at each place setting for your guests. Indigo textiles, wood tones and vintage books round out the display. Vintage-inspired condiment containers are a must! Home Depot has some, they’re awesome!

Can we talk about this watercolor shamrock stationery? So soft and pretty and it set the perfect tone for our concept! I love the idea of incorporating stationery for any gathering you are hosting. It makes the event feel more special and if you everyone loves receiving something in the mail. When ordering stationery, think beyond the invitation and integrate it into the evening as well. We knew we would have an Irish whiskey bar, so our genius stationery designer designed a custom card for the bar. If you have a variety of drinks or desserts, labeling them with custom cards that coordinate with the invitations is a great way to make the event cohesive. Pink Boho Christmas Gathering + Pink Hot Cocoa!

I can’t believe Christmas is right around the corner! I’m not ready to give up Christmas music, apple cider and holiday decor just yet…and I’m certainly not ready to stop trying to inspire you guys for your holiday entertaining either! Today I’m sharing a cute al fresco concept for a holiday party, girls winter gathering or even a New Years party. How about a pink wonderland tablescape with a low boho table, poufs and pillows, sequins and pink hot cocoa??? If you guys follow me on Instagram, you may have seen the sneak peaks of today’s project on my story a few weeks back. I was inspired by a beautiful image from an Anthropologie catalog earlier this year featuring a low boho table under an oak tree with moss and lanterns hanging from it. I have the perfect oak tree so I decided to use that setting as inspiration for an al fresco, PINK boho Christmas tablescape and of course a bar cart! Edgy, Glam Holiday Party Inspiration

Remember how I told you guys I used to own a vintage rental and styling company? Well, before closing the doors to my business, I did one last wedding styled shoot hoorah with my dear friend Emily. You guys know Emily, she snapped the pics in my post about how to host an easy Fall brunch. A “styled shoot” in the wedding industry is when a lot of wedding vendors come together and basically put on a fake wedding. Each vendor typically donates their time and services in order to network, exercise some creative freedom, push boundaries and/or experiment with new techniques, and everyone involved gets the images to use for marketing. We enlist everything you would need for a wedding, down to the “bride” and “groom.” I conceptualized and styled the shoot, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team for my last wedding shoot with my industry friends! Annnndddd I’m so happy that my favorite wedding blog, Green Wedding Shoes, featured our work!

Organic, Boho Thanksgiving Tablescape Inspiration

Today is the last day of my three part tablescape inspiration series (sniffle sniffle). To recap, part one was a soft pastel pink and gold tablescape, part two was an elegant tablescape with black and deep red. It was such a fun project and I’m so psyched that our tables and my tips for entertaining this Thanksgiving were featured on Style Me Pretty Living as well as a second feature for the cocktails! I’m also so honored to have worked with Le Creuset who provided some of their amazing enameled cookware for the project! I hope I inspired you guys to do something a little different this year! The last and final tablescape I’m sharing is an organic, boho Thanksgiving tablescape and I think this one is my favorite. I mean, I love them all, but this one has some super cute touches. Here goes!
