A Sparkly NYE Rosé and Dessert Party

NYE Rosé and Dessert Party

Ladies, what better way to ring in the new year with your girlfriends with a NYE rosé and dessert party? For NYE inspiration this year we created a heck of a party, right in the Daly Digs dining room, proving you  too can deck out a space at home for some festive entertaining. For our celebration, we took a traditional approach to New Year’s Eve and created a sparkly, confetti-filled NYE rosé and dessert party with an edgy twist. Check out all the shiny details, you’re not gonna wanna miss this one.
Huge thanks to Courtney for featuring our shoot on her fantastic entertaining blog, Pizzazzerie! Head over to see more from the feature 🙂

If you’ve been reading the blog for a while, you know my number one tip for entertaining starts before the actual party with stationery. Sending an invitation not only makes your friends feel special but is a great opportunity to set the stage for the party while keeping an organized head-count and encourages your friends to take your party seriously!

The first step was removing everything from the room that didn’t fit with our color palette – which if you remember the dining room reveal, is basically everything. Next, a few amazing sequin linens set the stage for our decor. Then we brought in lots of layered textures, disco balls and show-stopper florals in pink, purple and red hues and black accents for a little sexy drama.

I mixed black and white dinnerware and paired it with black matte flatware and black and pink linen napkins. I love the black contrast againstins the sparkly pink sequin table linen.

For centerpieces, we used iridescent tinsel garlands, loose fresh florals and mini disco balls with florals in geometric vases. We even have a mini unicorn piñata nestled in there. 🙂
In addition to the main tablescape, our NYE rosé and dessert party featured a champagne bar cart (duh!), a small seating area off to the side and of course, a huge buffet of sweets.
A champagne tower and pink champagne jello shots are perfect for NYE!
What’s a NYE rose and dessert party without dessert?? One heck of a cake, hand-painted macarons, cake bites and made-from-scratch doughnuts were a few of the desserts which were showcased on vintage black and pink cake and candy dishes.
A tinsel backdrop is a super affordable and an easy way to dress up a space for a NYE party. At 5′ wide they offer a lot of bang for your buck.
And then…we did what any group of girls would do when at a sparkly pink rosé party 🙂
Java butt just couldn’t stay out of the action while we were shooting!! #reallifefolks
Why not ask all your girlfriends to dress up for the occasion? Designate a color palette in your invitation, set up a backdrop, add a few party hats and make way for some fun photos.
Confetti poppers…a NYE necessity and clean-up nightmare. Worth it? I think so.
How many glasses of rosé will it take for your friends to take off their heels?
Hope our NYE rosé and dessert party inspired your NYE entertaining! Let me know what you think and what ideas you liked the best! Happy New Year!!
As always, huge thank you to the team that made this all possible:
